Fighter jets intercept Chinese spy planes and bombers flying over US military bases

CHINESE bombers and spy planes have flown over US military bases located in Japan in a bid to provoke Donald Trump.
After four Chinese H-6 bombers and two spy planes were seen going through the international airspace in the East China Sea, Japan responded by dispatching fighter jets.
The move from China comes as the US and Japanese armies conduct 10-day joint training operations in the region.
The tense operations come as several North Korea missiles flew over Japan.
Pyongyang has also carried out its sixth and largest nuclear test, raising the stakes in the most critical international challenge of Trump's presidency.
Recent drills over South Korea by two US strategic bombers have further heightened tensions.
Addressing the threat posed by North Korea, Mr Trump said: "We will never yield, never waver and never falter in defence of our freedom."
