Multiplex tops out Hengyi Pacific’s 70-level tower in Melbourne
Hengyi Pacific’s $170 million “Light House” is the latest apartment tower on the Melbourne skyline, with builder Multiplex topping out the project at 70 levels.
The 607-unit tower, pictured above, designed by architect Elenberg Fraser, features purple tinted angular aluminium panels that change colour depending on the viewing angle. The tower is still under construction, with some 300 workers on the site at the corner of Elizabeth and Franklin streets in Melbourne’s CBD. It is expected to be completed in August.
Multiplex will also build Hengyi’s next Melbourne apartment development, “Swanston Central”, in Carlton.
