A Chinese property developer is promising investors a 'high quality lifestyle' with access to powerful politicians and social welfare benefits as part of a land deal.
Profit Palace Group boss Jiang Xiao has also promised potential Asian buyers they could obtain a permanent resident visa in six months if they buy a property in an estate in the Hunter Valley in New South Wales.
The company's website names and shows photographs of Liberal MP Geoff Lee and lawyer Nigel Dobbie as supporters of the project - but both vehemently deny any knowledge of the 223-lot estate, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting that Mr Lee and Mr Dobbie are involved with the company or its development.
The NSW State Government has ordered a 'high-level briefing' on the development, the Daily Telegraph reported.

'After being granted this visa, the applicant and their family members can enjoy the social welfare benefits that Australian citizens are entitled to,' the website reads.
'At the moment, this project has received NSW state government and local city government support. The project's approval process is close to complete, and the 132 visa has received pre-approval.
'Even if you don't understand English, you can rapidly blend in to Sydney's political and business circles. You and your friends can leisurely ride horses, or have a sand-boarding competition.Share
'You can enjoy picking grapes in your own backyard, appreciate the beautiful sunrise, or study winemaking. Of course you can also take a hot-air balloon ride and enjoy the Hunter Valley's unique Brokeback Mountain (sic), have a helicopter adventure or enjoy the folk music festival.'
Parramatta MP Geoff Lee is shown with Mr Xiao in a photograph on Profit Palace's website. Mr Lee has no knowledge of the company or its development.
'I do not know anything about this company or the site. That picture was used without my permission - and I will be writing to them to ask them to remove my photo,' he said.

Immigration lawyer Nigel Dobbie is also erroneously pictured on the website and described as 'co-operating' with the project.
'This is outrageous. I am nothing to do with that company or that project. They used to be in the same building as me but that is it,' Mr Dobbie said.
A spokesman for NSW Planning Minister Anthony Roberts last night said he is concerned about the comments made by Mr Xiao.

'It's just not the right kind of development for here. The peace and quiet, that people move here for, will be gone.'
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Profit Palace Group for comment.
