 Kelowna first Mid-Autumn Festival party 

OCCA on September 10, 2011 in Rutland Centinnial Hall Kelowna, held the first Mid-Autumn Festival party. Every year since August 15 Mid-Autumn Festival originated in China, popular in East Asian countries. In China, the Mid-Autumn Festival is the second largest after the Spring Festival, a traditional festival. A typical family reunion celebration, making and tasting moon cake, moon and tell stories. On this free family-oriented party, OCCA also provides interactive activities including traditional Chinese dance, poetry readings and musical instruments such as stage performances, as well as calligraphy, tai chi, Chinese chess and so on.
