manufacturers cease
trading before a
possible restructuring

Some of the leading aero-engine manufacturers controlled by state-owned Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) have halted trading on Chinese stock exchanges before an anticipated restructuring.
The AVIC Aviation Engine Corporation (formerly the Xian Aero-Engine Corporation), Sichuan Chengfa Aero Science and Technology and AVIC Aero-Engine Controls all ceased trading on 8 October due to what they said was "recasting" to be implemented by AVIC.
State news in China said the restructuring was approved by the government in 2014.
Although AVIC has yet to clarify its aero-engine restructuring intentions previous reports suggest that they could be expansive and include not only the three listed companies but other engine developers including Liyang Aero-Engine Corporation in Guizhou and the Liming Aero-Engine Manufacturing Corporation in Shenyang.
