China fans were out in full force at Investors Group Field (IGF) Monday night as their team tied New Zealand 2-2. But the story of the game was what happened off the pitch.

At one point a spectator got onto the field and was chased by security during the game. Meanwhile, China's coach was ejected from the match by the referee after taking issue with a call.
New Zealand's head coach refused to shake the Team China coach's hand after the match.
Regardless, Fisher Wang, who has lived in Winnipeg for years, said he was excited to watch the Chinese women's team live.
"I have been in Winnipeg for certain years, and this is the first time in my Winnipeg life I'm so proud to be Chinese in Winnipeg. And football is an international game, and especially in China."
Winnipeg will host one more game Tuesday at IGF. Ecuador and the reigning FIFA Women's World Cup champs Japan play at 4 p.m.
