San Antonio City Council Designates Term “Chinese Virus” As “Hate Speech”

Resolution being voted on by San Antonio City Council this morning labels terms "Chinese Virus" and "Kung Fu Virus" as hate speech and "all persons are encouraged to report any such antisemitic, discriminatory or racist incidents to the proper authorities for investigation".

The left doesn’t just want to police your behaviour; they want to regulate your speech and have your fellow neighbors snitch on you if you make the wrong noise with your mouth.

KSAT-TV reports that the San Antonio City Council has passed a new resolution that states:

“that the use of terms like “Chinese Virus” or “Kung Fu virus” encourage hate crimes and incidents against Chinese as well as spread misinformation...

Liberal Council Member Manny Pelaez speaking on resolution said that “hate speech is more dangerous than the virus itself”.

Really, what’s the death toll of someone saying “Chinese Virus” vs someone actually getting it.
